From the grandeur of the Mughal courts to the treasured jewel boxes of noblewomen, jewelry was never simply adornment.
It reflected heritage, artistry, status, celebration, and love. Rubies, emeralds, pearls, polki and kundan were shaped by extraordinary hands into pieces whose beauty endured far beyond the lives of those who first wore them.
And as centuries passed, the jewels evolved.

Old motifs found new forms.
The magnificence remained, but tradition learned to live beautifully in the present.
And so was born Zeenat-e-Darbar by Umbreen—

Within every Darbar lives a nigehbaan—a keeper of its treasures, its stories, and its riwayat.
For Umbreen Hasan, Zeenat-e-Darbar was born from an enduring fascination with the magnificence of the Mughal courts—an age where zevar was poetry, hunar was legacy, and every precious possession carried a dastaan from one generation to the next.
With an artist’s nazar, she gathers the zeenat of her Darbar—jewels, textiles and objects of beauty that whisper of shahi khazane, old mehfils, and the refined nafasat of a bygone era.
Each treasure is personally chosen as though destined for a royal khazana—for its hunar, its virasat, and above all, the dastaan it carries.
Har zevar ek dastaan.
Har hunar ek virasat.
